I'm Caroline.

I’m a New York City-based Sorta Rican actor, singer, dancer, cat lover, TV binger, amateur impressionist, cocktail enthusiast, and huge fan of the way storytelling connects us with friends and strangers alike.

I grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and graduated from Indiana University with a BFA in Musical Theatre. GO HOOSIERS! While I'm a true Midwestern girl at heart, recent travels include Middle of the Ocean, Central Perk, and Pemberley House (check out my resume.)

This song has always struck a chord with me and it was truly a privilege performing it at @donttellmamanewyorkcity for my new york city debut. In case you didn’t know, september is national suicide prevention month. According to the @trevorproject, 39% of LGBTQ+ young people seriously considered an attempt in the past year, including 46% of trans and nonbinary people.

LIFE UPDATE: I’m going back to sea!! 🛳️💃🏻🌊

For the next 9 months, I’ll be performing as a featured vocalist on board Royal Caribbean’s Anthem of the Seas! I get to work with this INSANELY talented cast in our show called Spectra’s Cabaret, while traveling through Spain, France, Portugal, Norway, Italy, the UK, and the Caribbean.

Feeling truly blessed to do what I love while seeing beautiful new parts of the world for the first time. Grateful doesn’t even cover it 🥹

With that said, all the cool girls are using whatsapp and you should too 🤪 (pls keep in touch while I’m in the middle of the ocean 🥲)

Being an artist takes truckloads and truckloads of resilience. I have been very blessed with some truly wonderful experiences in the short time I’ve been out of school: my first professional contract, working on a cruise ship, plus some auditions and callbacks that a year ago I would be in amazed disbelief about.

At the same time, I have already become very familiar with the all-too-true phrase, “Auditioning is the job.” What we do is literally crazy. It’s a constant balancing act between the pure hope and joy and excitement of possibilities and the disappointment of those possibilities being ~just~ out of reach. The knowledge of how hard and long you have worked just for a chance at something, only to not get it. Add onto that the realization that EVERY job has its negative parts, even the ones you’ve dreamed about, and you get a lifetime of lessons within just a few months.

All of these feelings are valid (and universal) and all of these experiences are worthwhile in terms of our development as artists and, more importantly, human beings. The more intentionally we can practice GRATITUDE for all of it - the ups and the downs - the more authentically we can express ourselves through this crazy silly beautiful thing we do. It is the HARDEST and most REWARDING thing in the world.

Exactly two weeks ago, I had just returned home from my rehearsal swing contract in Tampa. 6 days later, on a Tuesday, I got an email offering me an immediate replacement position aboard the Norwegian Sky as a production cast vocalist. By Thursday I was on a flight to Tampa for my fitting, and Sunday morning I officially embarked in Miami. AHHH!!

I feel so incredibly blessed to be here. I have endless love for the friends and family who have supported me along the way, and endless excitement for the adventure ahead. Let’s do this!!! 💙

(also: I will be in and out of service for the next two months while I cruise around the Caribbean, so the best place to reach me consistently is through WhatsApp! get into it! 💅)

THE LADIES✨💃🏻 We opened Much Ado About Nothing last night!!

This is my first Shakespeare play. Ever. So I was pretty intimidated coming into rehearsals, especially knowing I was surrounded by experienced and uber talented classical actors. But thanks to these ladies and to our incredible director @jb_jennyb, taking on the Bard wasn’t quite so scary as I thought.

Feeling grateful and pumped for the next 2 weeks of performances. To trying new things! 🥂

We opened a show!!! 🤩 A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder opened at @hopereptheatre last week and it is a BLAST. Keep an eye out for a sneak peek of the show, coming soon 👀

Truthfully, I never thought I was a fit for the soprano ingenue type. But this project has challenged my perception of what the ingenue is “supposed” to be like and empowered me to be confident in myself as a multi-faceted artist. I’m so grateful to @lennybanovez for seeing that potential in me, and to be surrounded by such INCREDIBLE talent in this cast.

I recently lived out my travel influencer dreams on an amazing family trip to Santorini!! It was truly one of the most gorgeous places I have ever seen 🥹

Within twelve hours of my return flight, I turned right around and drove to Holland, Michigan for my summer contract. We open Gentleman’s Guide in ONE WEEK 🤩🤩

Last weekend, I officially graduated with Highest Distinction from Indiana University, earning a BFA in Musical Theatre and a minor in Arts Management! 🥳 I am so immensely grateful to the faculty, friends, and family who helped me get here. It truly takes an army, and mine is pretty amazing. ❤️🤍
